Chairman:

Julia joined Hayes Symphony Orchestra in 2019 having previously played the 'cello in Thanet Light Orchestra and Ashford Symphony Orchestra. She also plays the oboe, piano and tenor sax. She took over the role of Secretary from David Stern when he became Treasurer and is always happy to answer any queries about the orchestra from fellow musicians or members of the public.

Treasurer:

David Stern

David is a bassoonist and contrabassoonist. Normally found lugging around large cases, he has been with the orchestra since 2015 and is now the treasurer of the orchestra. Responsible for collecting money from members (be warned) and ensuring we live within our means. Despite this he is relatively harmless

Membership Secretary:

Samantha Carter

Sam keeps everyone informed of what's happening as well as leading our cello section.

She has been with the orchestra forever and does a sterling job of organising socials and string days.
